PRESENTATION
The National Agency for Identification of Persons (ANIP)
is a structure created by law 2017-08 on the identification code of persons in the Republic of Benin. It is responsible for implementing the Personal Identification Number (NPI) and national biometric identity cards for Beninese citizens, managing the National Register of Identification of Persons (RNIP), the Register of Civil Status Acts (RAEC), as well as issuing and managing personal identification certificates and other community documents.
