Description

Process for registering a person in the National Register of Natural Persons (RNPP). Its purpose is to assign an official, reliable identity to every citizen (issuance of a Personal Identification Number — NPI).

Beninese citizens, residents

Required documents

  • Birth certificate (mandatory)
  • Identity card or LEPI card or driving licence or passport or court authorisation, or child's birth slip + parents' CIP/FID.
  • Certificate of nationality or CIP or CNIB or passport of one of the Beninese parents if the child was born abroad
  • Or court decision.
